NYFW Outfit Post: The Blue Coat

Apologies for the hiatus, I’ve been in NY since Friday. Got back yesterday along with a nice souvenir, the flu. Aside from being sick the last day I had a magnificent time in the Big Apple. I went with a group of fabulous bloggers who were nothing but smiles and laughs despite the Arctic weather. And I must say, DC held its own in New York!!! Several of my friends are currently featured on Essence.com and one was featured on Vogue Italia! Big things!!!

I ate loads of yummy food and did wind up attending two shows and a presentation, which made me want to kick myself for no bringing my zoom lens. But no worries, pics will be up soon!

So for day one I decided to “be me” which is loud and colorful. 

Coat is vintage 60’s from Rusty Zipper.com as is the orange sweater.

Belt is thrifted.

Skirt is from American Apparel.

And y’all know my good ole Nine West Heels, I can’t let them go :-)
